Hello, Valued Customer™! You were linked here because it seems you did not follow the Installation instructions on Nexus and here on the Wiki.
Just to be absolutely clear, because this problem makes up about 80% of our tickets: Do NOT use these folders, or subfolders of:
- C:\Windows
- C:\Program Files
- C:\Program Files (x86)
- C:\Users (This includes your Desktop, Downloads, and Documents folders)
- Whatever your OneDrive (or other cloud storage) folder is
- Your BT install location
- Additionally, please do not run the launcher from the root of a drive
(X:\), or have RtlCache(aka RogueLauncherCache) exist directly from a drive letter(X:\RtlCache / X:\RogueLauncherCache)
If you have previously installed to one of these locations, follow the directions provided in the ticket. If none were provided, delete the entire RtlCache(aka RogueLauncherCache), move only the launcher exe to it's own location such as X:\RT, and install again from scratch (Delete PathToWorkspace\RTLCache and the BattleTech\Mods directories), ensuring the assigned workspace is NOT pointed under any of the above listed folders.
