The Patton-SB's weapons are designed to take advantage of the hazards of vacuum combat by spreading out their damage to maximize the chances of a breach. Its Silver Bullet Gauss rifle, combined with a Holly five-tube LRM launcher combine hull breach seeking ordinance and long range firepower in an attractive package; both with plenty of ammunition. Two Diverse Optics lasers serve as the tank's secondary weapons and deter close assault. The Patton tank is a 65-ton armored combat vehicle, specializing in conventional armored warfare. Identical to its twin, the Rommel, in every way but armament and armor configuration, the Patton has primarily served with the Lyran Commonwealth and the Lyran Alliance. It is named after General George S. Patton, Jr., a legendary commander of armored and mechanized forces renowned for his exploits during World War II on Terra.
